Fiscal year 2026

The July 29, 2026 earnings release says fiscal-year revenue was $331.8 billion, up 18%, or 16% in constant currency, and operating income was $155.2 billion, up 21%, or 19% in constant currency. For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, revenue was $90.0 billion, up 18%, or 17% in constant currency, and operating income was $40.6 billion, up 18%.

Azure and Microsoft 365

Nadella said that in the year, Azure revenue surpassed $100 billion for the first time, up 41% in his sentence, and that Microsoft 365 Copilot reached over 30 million paid seats. The release does not print a standalone Azure dollar line in the financial statements. Intelligent Cloud revenue in the quarter was $39.3 billion, up 32%, or 31% in constant currency. That segment is wider than Azure alone.

As of June 30, 2026, Microsoft employed approximately 223,000 people on a full-time basis, 121,000 in the United States and 102,000 internationally. Of those, 89,000 were in operations, 77,000 in product research and development, 43,000 in sales and marketing, and 14,000 in general and administration.
