Anthropic signs $45 billion compute deal with Nscale
Anthropic agreed on August 26 to rent roughly $45 billion of AI compute from British infrastructure firm Nscale, running on Nvidia's new Vera Rubin chip platform. The capacity is expected to begin powering Anthropic's services in late 2027, one of the company's largest single infrastructure commitments to date and distinct from its IPO and total-addressable-market disclosures reported earlier this week.
