WSJ says Amazon is in talks to buy Decart for about $7 billion

The Wall Street Journal reported on Oct. 11, citing people familiar with the matter, that Amazon is in talks to acquire AI startup Decart for around $7 billion and that a deal could happen soon if the talks hold. Reuters, relaying that report, said Amazon declined to comment and Decart did not respond. Bloomberg had earlier reported that Anthropic dropped a possible roughly $6 billion purchase after due diligence. No agreement has been announced.
