Anthropic opens a Singapore office and signs an MOU
Anthropic said on Oct. 14 that its Singapore office, the company's fifth in Asia-Pacific, is open at Raffles Place. Co-founder Ben Mann and Permanent Secretary Chng Kai Fong signed an MOU with the Ministry of Digital Development and Information covering AI safety, security, model evaluation, adoption research and responsible public and private use. CNA reported the signing was on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The MOU states no funding amount, and Anthropic did not give a headcount.
