Google opens early access to an Earth AI agent

Google Research said on Oct. 14 it is expanding experimental access to a Geospatial Reasoning agent through an Ask Google Earth deep-research preview and an agent-to-agent API. The post releases two benchmarks, GeoKTools and GeoExpertQueries, and says a WHO Africa team used the agent during the 2026 Ebola outbreak in the DRC. Google's account of that test is 48 exposed settlements and more than 45,500 people. Access is limited to an interest form, and no general-availability date was given.
