Mistral releases Timestral forecasting models

On Oct. 15, 2026 Mistral released Timestral, time-series models in 5 million, 28 million, 123 million and 209 million parameter sizes. The company says the 209 million model ranks first among pretrained zero-shot models on GIFT-Eval, TIME and fev-bench, and that forecasts run on a CPU. A technical report is still to come, and no independent leaderboard check was opened.
