Phones and the Q2 2026 note

In the smartphone passage of the 2025 report, Huawei names the HUAWEI Pura X widescreen foldable and the HUAWEI Mate 80 Series. The current spec records on this profile are the Mate 80 and the Pura 90, from their Chinese spec pages. The Pura 90 is not the Pura X named in that report.

IDC's final Q2 2026 top-five table names Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo, then Others at 76.6 million units. Huawei is not a row. On the same page, IDC says Huawei stands apart with 19.9 percent year-over-year growth. That is a growth comment, not a rank or a unit total.

People

The corporate page says approximately 213,000 employees, and the April 2026 fact sheet says Huawei has 213,000 employees. Neither sentence prints a census date next to that total. A dated line, on the corporate page and in the annual report, says that on December 31, 2025, 114,000 employees, about 53.7 percent of the workforce, worked in R&D. This profile does not divide those figures into a new headcount.
