DeepSeek said on September 30, 2026 via its official WeChat account that it has open-sourced Ascend-platform infrastructure matching its Nvidia-side stack, including TileLang plus DeepGEMM, DeepEP, TileKernels, FlashMLA and DeepSelect. Phoenix reprints said Huawei's team supported the work and that the companies jointly advanced a 128-card supernode based on Ascend 950. Phoenix reprints of the WeChat post said Huawei's team gave strong support and that the companies jointly advanced a 128-card supernode based on Ascend 950. SCMP reported TileLang now lists Ascend 950 support. This is DeepSeek's software release, not a disclosed Huawei hardware sales contract.
