The June 30, 2026 Form 10-Q gives the principal executive offices as 1 Meta Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, and says the Family is Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. The investor leadership page says Mark Zuckerberg is founder, chairman, and CEO, and that he originally founded the company as Facebook in 2004. The July 29, 2026 release quotes him as Meta founder and CEO. The site used here is meta.com.
Second quarter of 2026
The July 29, 2026 release reports revenue of $60,801 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up 28% from $47,516 million. The same release says revenue was $60.80 billion and would have risen 27% in constant currency. Costs and expenses were $42,026 million, up 55%, including $2.40 billion of legal charges and $1.18 billion of severance tied to the May 2026 headcount reduction. Income from operations was $18,775 million, down 8%, and the operating margin was 31% versus 43%. Net income was $15,848 million. First-half revenue was $117,111 million.
Family of Apps and Reality Labs
Family of Apps includes Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and other services. Its Q2 revenue was $60,370 million and its operating income was $23,394 million. Advertising was $59,363 million of that. Reality Labs, the virtual and augmented reality hardware, software, and content business, had revenue of $431 million and an operating loss of $4,619 million. Family daily active people, people who used at least one of the four apps, averaged 3.60 billion in June 2026, up 3%. That is not an Instagram-only count.
People, cash, and the July 29 outlook
Headcount was 75,472 as of June 30, 2026, down 1% year over year. The release says that count still included about 8,000 employees affected by the May reduction, and that most of them would leave the count by the end of the third quarter. Capital expenditures, including principal payments on finance leases, were $31.08 billion in the quarter. In the same release, the CFO expected third-quarter 2026 revenue of $61 billion to $64 billion and 2026 capital expenditures, including finance leases, of $130 billion to $145 billion. Those ranges are the July 29 outlook, not a later update.
What this profile leaves out
Full-year 2025 revenue is not restated here. A later legal settlement after July 29 is not folded into the outlook above. Instagram does not have its own income statement in the release. A logo and product photos are not included. Q3 2026 results were not in the July 29 release or the June 30 10-Q.
