China sets Long March 10B debut with first sea-recovery attempt

CASC scheduled the maiden flight of its reusable Long March 10B from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site, with a launch window opening July 10 (0500-0900 UTC) and daily backups through July 13. The two-stage kerolox vehicle, a cargo variant of the crewed Long March 10A, will attempt to recover its first stage downrange on the 'Linghangzhe' barge using grid fins and an arrestor-net capture system. It would be China's third orbital first-stage sea-recovery attempt, after LandSpace's Zhuque-3 and a CASC/SAST Long March 12A last December.
