Musk to train next Grok model on SpaceX engineering data
Elon Musk said on July 21 that SpaceX's corpus of engineering data will be fed into the supplemental training of xAI's next major Grok model, a roughly two-trillion-parameter run, excluding anything restricted under U.S. arms-export (ITAR) rules. Musk said the aerospace data would dramatically improve Grok's engineering capabilities, extending his pattern of routing data from his companies into xAI after Tesla's driving data and X's conversational data. Grok 4.5, the current flagship model, launched on July 8.
