Boeing posts narrower Q2 loss as backlog hits record $715B
Boeing reported second-quarter 2026 results on July 28, posting a net loss of $428 million ($0.67 per share) on revenue of $24.6 billion, narrower than a year earlier. Total company backlog grew to a record $715 billion, including more than 6,200 commercial aircraft, even as results absorbed a $280 million charge on the VC-25B Air Force One replacement program, which Boeing still expects to deliver first in 2028.
