Moderna beats Q2 estimates, narrows GAAP loss to $782M

Moderna reported second-quarter 2026 results on July 31, posting revenue of $145 million, up 2% year over year and above the high end of its prior guidance, with a GAAP net loss of $782 million ($1.97 per share) as cost of sales, R&D, and SG&A all fell versus a year earlier. The company reiterated guidance for up to 10% revenue growth in 2026 and raised its projected year-end cash and investments to $4.7-5.2 billion, with an FDA decision on its seasonal flu vaccine mRNA-1010 expected around August 5.
