Voyager completes Astrobotic buy, wins $298M NASA lunar deal

Voyager Technologies closed its acquisition of lunar lander maker Astrobotic on July 13, paying $162 million in cash and stock plus $9 million in assumed debt, with up to $129 million more available in earnouts. Astrobotic now operates as Voyager Lunar Systems under CEO John Thornton, and NASA awarded the combined company a roughly $298 million task order for the Peregrine-2 mission, targeting a 2028 landing at the Gruithuisen Domes.
