Boeing engineers' union endorses tentative four-year contract
The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace said on July 30, 2026 that it will endorse Boeing's contract offer covering roughly 17,000 engineers, scientists, technicians, and planners, the first full renegotiation between the two sides in 14 years. Union councils are reviewing the proposals before sending them to members for a vote, with the current contract expiring October 6 and no strike possible before then.
