SpaceX launches classified NROL-95 mission for the NRO
A SpaceX Falcon 9 launched the classified NROL-95 payload for the National Reconnaissance Office from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral at 3:10 a.m. EDT on July 30, 2026, under the National Security Space Launch Phase 2 program. Booster B1096 flew its seventh mission and landed at Landing Zone 2 about 8.5 minutes after liftoff; coverage of the payload deployment was withheld at the NRO's request.
