XPeng reveals G9L global flagship SUV with 800V fast charging

XPeng revealed the G9L on August 3, a five-seat flagship SUV built for the global market on the same 800V platform as the GX, with a 5C battery that adds up to 450 km of range in nine minutes and rear- or all-wheel-drive versions producing 270 kW or 430 kW. CEO He Xiaopeng said the G9L project was approved three years ago to build a global tech flagship, and the SUV starts at RMB248,800 in China, joining the GX and Mona L03 as XPeng pushes further into international markets.
