AST SpaceMobile successfully launches three more BlueBirds
AST SpaceMobile confirmed the successful orbital launch of BlueBird satellites 11, 12 and 13 aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Cape Canaveral at 3:42 a.m. EDT on August 5, 2026, bringing its in-orbit constellation to 13 satellites. The next-generation satellites carry an upgraded roughly 2,400-square-foot phased array that nearly doubles peak download speeds over the company's first-generation BlueBirds, with production already advanced through satellite 42 and BlueBird 14-16 preparing for the next mission.
