Palantir and Mercury Systems team up on defense factory AI
Mercury Systems said it entered a strategic agreement with Palantir to automate material planning and factory operations across its U.S. defense manufacturing sites, building an enterprise ontology that serves as a digital twin of its production footprint on Palantir's Foundry platform. The initial workflows target manual-workload reduction and faster, more predictable output without extending delivery timelines or raising costs, with the effort sponsored under a U.S. government Tradewind Prototype Agreement. Shares of both companies rose on the announcement.
