Reuters: Tesla pushed Dutch regulator to keep FSD review secret

A Reuters investigation published August 6 found Tesla has pressed the Dutch vehicle authority RDW since late 2024 to keep confidential the documentation behind its approval of Full Self-Driving in the Netherlands, citing commercial-secrets concerns; RDW echoed that language in refusing to disclose how it evaluated the system's safety. Regulators in several other European countries, including Germany, Norway and Denmark, told Reuters they similarly could not release FSD testing or performance data, and Norway's road authority said the data it reviewed differs from what Tesla publishes on its own website.
