USA Today's owner taps Palantir to mine reader data
USA Today Co., the largest newspaper chain in the US, said on its Q2 earnings call around August 6-7 that it is partnering with Palantir to analyze audience and subscriber data using Palantir's AI and software tools. CEO Mike Reed said the goal is to turn reader behavior into targetable intelligence for advertising and subscription pricing, extending Palantir's commercial push into media and publishing beyond its government and defense base.
