CATL to supply 3 GWh of batteries to ContourGlobal projects
ContourGlobal awarded CATL a contract to supply containerized liquid-cooled battery energy storage systems for three projects: Los Maitenes in Chile (90 MW/360 MWh), Taxiarches in Greece (100 MW/400 MWh), and the Wallace project in Scotland (500 MW/2,000 MWh, in advanced development). The roughly 3 GWh deal uses CATL's large-format LFP cells packaged in 526 containers across the three countries.
