X-energy gets $1B more DOE backing as Q2 revenue jumps 154%
X-energy reported Q2 2026 revenue and grant income of $54.6 million, up 154% year over year, with $1.9 billion in total liquidity as of June 30. The same day, the Department of Energy formally notified X-energy that its Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program agreement will receive up to an additional $1 billion, raising DOE's total ARDP cost-share to as much as $2.115 billion across the Xe-100 reference plant, the TX-1 fuel facility, and the Dow Seadrift deployment.
