Zhipu AI added to MSCI China Index in August review
MSCI's August 2026 index review, announced August 13, added Beijing-based Zhipu AI (Z.AI Co H) to the MSCI China Index alongside 32 other Chinese companies. Zhipu was among the three largest additions to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index by full company market capitalization, reflecting growing institutional interest in China's AI sector; the change takes effect after market close on August 31.
