Firefly extends Lockheed Martin launch deal to 2031

Firefly Aerospace announced on August 11 a two-year extension of its multi-launch agreement with Lockheed Martin, covering up to 25 Alpha Block II launches through 2031, the same maximum launch count as the original 2024 deal now stretched over a longer window. The companies are also working with Seagate Space on sea-based launch concepts using Firefly's Alpha vehicle from an offshore platform.
