Anduril protests exclusion from DHS counter-drone contract track

Anduril filed a bid protest on August 12 challenging the Department of Homeland Security's evaluation of its proposal for a $1.5 billion counter-unmanned aircraft systems contract awarded August 5 to 12 companies across two tracks. Anduril won a Track 2 services slot but was excluded from Track 1, which covers hardware and software and went to companies including BAE Systems, CACI and Leidos, despite making qualifying products like its Anvil interceptor and Sentry radar; the Government Accountability Office is due to rule on the protest by November 20.
