Boeing signs seven-year deals to boost SM-3 interceptor output

Boeing said August 14 it signed new seven-year framework agreements with the U.S. Department of War and Raytheon, an RTX business, to increase production of avionics and ejector assemblies for the SM-3 Block IB and Block IIA interceptors that anchor US sea-based missile defense. Boeing, the Department of War and SM-3 prime contractor Raytheon will ramp up production ahead of contract as they negotiate a multi-year award under the frameworks; no financial terms were disclosed.
