BYD opens pre-orders for Sealion 08, its Ocean-series flagship SUV
BYD opened pre-orders on August 13 for the Sealion 08, the flagship SUV of its Ocean lineup, offered in DM-i plug-in hybrid and all-electric versions with five- and six-seat layouts. Pre-order pricing runs 230,000-260,000 yuan (about $32,000-$36,000) for the DM-i and 250,000-280,000 yuan (about $35,000-$39,000) for the EV, with the DM-i variant marking BYD's first plug-in hybrid SUV to get flash charging.
