Anduril's first satellite returns first calibrated images

Anduril said August 17 that its first fully-integrated satellite, ANDURIL-216, has returned first calibrated images from all three onboard payloads, a long-wave infrared sensor and two electro-optical sensors. The spacecraft launched July 7 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 Transporter-17 rideshare and went from clean-sheet design to orbit in under two years, with Anduril using its Lattice software to command and task an on-orbit spacecraft for the first time.
