Firefly onboarded to NASA spacecraft processing contract
NASA named Firefly Aerospace on August 17 as one of four companies, alongside All Points Logistics, Blue Origin and L3Harris, added to its Spacecraft Processing Operations Contract on-ramp. The award lets Firefly compete for task orders covering payload processing, fueling, integration and encapsulation for NASA missions launching from Vandenberg Space Force Base, where its commercial Payload Processing Facility sits less than half a mile from its own launch pad.
