Nvidia's AI server prices to rise over 15% on memory costs
Bloomberg reported on August 22 that some of Nvidia's biggest customers have been notified that prices for servers built around its AI chips are rising more than 15% in many cases, driven by soaring memory chip costs. The increases apply to systems shipping in early 2027, including those built on the Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin platforms, and were passed along by contract server assemblers that build for data-center operators such as Microsoft, Google, and Oracle; Nvidia has not commented on the report.
