Waymo reveals custom in-house chip for its robotaxis
Waymo disclosed it has built a custom 5nm ASIC, fabricated by TSMC, now in production in its latest robotaxi generation, delivering over 1,000 TOPS to process sensor data ahead of the core driving system.
