NuScale deploys nuclear-specific AI to speed reactor engineering

NuScale Power said August 25 it is deploying purpose-built AI tools, combining Nuclearn's AtomAssist platform with NPX's nuclear project experience, to help engineering and knowledge-management staff find and apply technical information faster across its SMR program. An initial proof of concept cut the time needed to find relevant information by as much as 80 percent, though the release describes an internal workflow deployment rather than a new customer contract or revenue event.
