AWS and Nvidia to add 2 million more GPUs for 2027-2028
AWS and Nvidia announced on August 26 an expanded partnership to deploy 2 million additional Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra GPUs across AWS's global infrastructure in 2027-2028, on top of the 1 million GPUs AWS previously committed to at GTC 2026. The deal also brings Nvidia's new Vera CPU to AWS for agentic AI workloads and includes a 100,000-GPU AI factory for the US government on secure AWS infrastructure.
