L3Harris licenses Shield AI Tracker for VAMPIRE drones
Shield AI said on September 1, 2026 that L3Harris has licensed its Tracker C-UAS software to equip the VAMPIRE counter-drone platform with passive, AI-powered detection. Tracker uses computer vision on electro-optical and infrared video to detect and track unmanned aircraft without radar or radio emissions. VAMPIRE systems have logged more than 350,000 operational hours and shot down hundreds of hostile drones in combat since 2023, Shield AI said.
