Coles will end Palantir Foundry partnership in Australia
Coles Group said it has agreed with Palantir Technologies to conclude a three-year data and analytics partnership that used Foundry and AI tools for rostering, store operations and supply chain planning across more than 840 stores. The February 2024 deal is not expected to run beyond calendar 2027, and transition timing is still being worked out. GetUp! claimed the outcome after a campaign that gathered about 86,000 petition signatures; Coles said the software runs in Coles' own environment under Coles controls and is not a surveillance tool.
