Boeing August deliveries dip to 51 jets

Reuters reported on September 8, 2026 that Boeing delivered 51 jets in August, down from 53 in July and 57 a year earlier, as 787 handovers fell to four from nine the prior August. August included 41 737 MAX jets, with nine to Southwest, eight to United and five to AerCap. Year-to-date deliveries reached 418, the most through eight months since 2018, and Boeing still guides 90 to 100 787s for 2026.
