Airbus cuts China 20-year narrowbody demand forecast

Airbus trimmed its 20-year China single-aisle forecast to 7,480 aircraft from 7,950 a year earlier, citing high-speed rail on journeys under about six hours that it now puts at roughly a 10% drag on domestic air demand. The company still sees China as the world's largest aviation market, with total 20-year demand of 8,830 passenger and cargo aircraft.
