Firefly books two Alpha launches from Sweden
Firefly Aerospace signed a multi-launch contract with SSC Space on September 9, 2026 for two Alpha missions from Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden, targeted no earlier than 2028. The flights will carry Swedish national-security payloads and commercial rideshare customers, with SSC Space holding full payload capacity on both. Firefly said launch-control, payload-processing and vehicle-integration buildings are complete, with pad work at Launch Complex 3C still underway.
