Waymo rides go live on Lyft app in Nashville

Lyft said Waymo robotaxis can now be booked in its Nashville app, the first U.S. market where the same driverless Jaguar I-Pace fleet is available on both the Waymo and Lyft apps. Trips that start and end inside the ~60-square-mile central service area (Downtown, North Nashville and Germantown, East Nashville, Midtown, South Nashville) carry no extra charge on Standard, Priority, Wait & Save, or Extra Comfort. Flexdrive will open an 80,000-square-foot depot this October, adding more than 70 local jobs.
