Hyundai joins CFS $1B raise for ARC plant talks

Commonwealth Fusion Systems said Hyundai Motor Group joined its July 2026 $1 billion equity raise, keeping total capital raised at about $4 billion. The investment is the first step toward collaborating on CFS's ARC commercial fusion plant and exploring fusion in Korea under the 7 SEED initiative. Hyundai is a newly named participant in the existing raise, not a separate new round.
