Palantir and Method launch Cardinal cyber program

Method Security and Palantir announced the Cardinal Program on September 11, 2026, offering select municipalities, utilities, and critical-infrastructure operators opt-in autonomous red-team assessments at no cost. Method's platform will map and safely test internet-facing assets, with Palantir Foundry, AIP, and Ontology for Cybersecurity used to deliver findings and keep assessments inside agreed rules of engagement. The companies framed it as a model that government agencies could later scale to systems in their mandates.
