Cote d'Ivoire advances 10-center Zipline medical network

Cote d'Ivoire's Council of Ministers on September 9 adopted a communication on a public-private partnership, signed in December 2025, with Zipline SARL to build and operate 10 drone centers for medical products, strategic inputs and blood. Phase 1 runs 27 months and covers the Daloa pilot plus Biankouma, San Pedro and Kouto; phase 2 adds six centers in Abidjan and the Indenie-Djuablin, Gbeke, Kabadougou, Belier and Gontougo regions. A U.S. grant would fund infrastructure while the Ivorian state pays for operating services.
