Tesla registers Vietnam sales subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City
Tesla Motors Vietnam LLC was established September 11 in Ho Chi Minh City with charter capital of 77.667 billion dong, about $3 million, according to a business registration filing reviewed by Reuters and published around September 14. The unit is authorized for wholesale and retail autos and parts plus import, export and distribution; David Jon Feinstein of Austin is listed as chairman and Isabel Ching Fan as general director. Tesla did not immediately comment, and the filing does not set a sales-start date.
