Anduril Fury has flown in formation alongside F-35s

Anduril executives told The War Zone at the AFA conference on September 14 that a YFQ-44A Fury already flew in formation alongside F-35s during the July Experimental Operations Unit exercise at Creech Air Force Base, though the fighter was not yet controlling the drone. The company also said it had permanently delivered a Fury to the EOU, the first CCA handed over to the unit, which is now flying it multiple times a day. Production aircraft are expected off the Arsenal-1 line in early 2027 at a unit cost Anduril said is well below $20 million at currently contemplated quantities.
