Korean Air finalizes record 103-jet Boeing order

Boeing and Korean Air announced on September 16 that the airline finalized an order for 103 aircraft worth $36.2 billion at list prices, comprising 20 777-9s, 25 787-10s, 50 737-10s and eight 777-8 Freighters. The contract converts the procurement commitment Korean Air made in August 2025 during U.S.-South Korea trade talks, and of the types ordered only the 787 is certified today. Korean Air said it also signed $8.6 billion of engine agreements with GE Aerospace and CFM International covering 21 spare engines plus 15 years of maintenance on 28 aircraft.
