Luckey says Taiwan arms delay is hitting Anduril

Anduril founder Palmer Luckey told reporters in Taipei on September 19 that President Trump's delay in approving a $14 billion Taiwan arms package is affecting the company's business, saying Taiwan work would be in a different place if the package were moving and that the stall also blocks progress in other areas. Luckey, who attended a defense forum with Taiwan President Lai Ching-te, said he has discussed the issue with Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, but declined to name which Anduril programs sit inside the package. China sanctioned Luckey in December 2025 for selling weapons to Taiwan; Anduril's Altius drone is already used there, and Taiwan last year unveiled a jointly made Barracuda-500 missile.
