Anduril Barracuda clears Air Force open-architecture test

Anduril said its Barracuda-M cruise-missile family is the first weapon in large-scale production to complete independent U.S. Air Force Weapon Open Systems Architecture verification. The Air Force Research Laboratory's MOATEL lab ran a four-day assessment covering 14 domains, including mission autonomy, seeker, propulsion, guidance, navigation, and the Munitions Data Bus. Production is underway, with first customer deliveries expected in early 2027 and annual output planned in the thousands.
