DeepSeek discloses DSec agent-training sandbox platform

DeepSeek posted an arXiv systems paper describing DeepSeek Elastic Compute, a production sandbox platform used for agent reinforcement-learning. The paper, with more than 130 authors including founder Liang Wenfeng as corresponding author, says a production unit of about 160 nodes serves about 3 million sandboxes a day, more than 380,000 concurrent sandboxes and more than 5,000 sandbox creations per second. Bloomberg reported the disclosure on September 25. The scale figures are DeepSeek's own and have not been independently measured; the paper is not an open-source release.
