Nvidia quantum center to host IonQ Superion 256
IonQ said on September 23 that its Superion 256 quantum computer will be the first on-premise quantum processor at Nvidia's Accelerated Quantum Research Center. The system is planned to connect to an Nvidia GB200 NVL72 rack through NVQLink and run hybrid workloads on CUDA-Q, with installation scheduled for 2027. Nvidia quantum vice president Timothy Costa is quoted in the IonQ release; first Superion 256 customer deliveries are also expected in 2027.
